Lachnoptera anticlia (The Blotched Leopard)

A very cool Monday from this beautiful butterfly that seems to be relaxing in the midst of leaves, shot by Ojonugwa Ekpah. It is a forest butterfly with some tolerance of habitat degradation. They are fond of flowers. Males come to water and urine (Larsen, 2005). Photo from Omo forest reserve, Nigeria. https://www.facebook.com/ekpah.ojonugwa
