Bicyclus madetes (The Brown-spot Bush Brown)

Beautiful Monday from Bicyclus madetes, shot by Ojonugwa Ekpah.
This species flies in forest and survives severe forest degradation relatively well. It is often commonly found, although somewhat patchily distributed. Host plant is Poaceae (Larsen, 2005). It was photographed at Erin Camp, in Omo forest reserve. https://www.facebook.com/ekpah.ojonugwa/
